......."What? Do you live in a cave????"
........" so let me get this straight, you don't vote, don't watch the news, don't get the newspaper, and you don't even watch sports???? Whaddya live in a cave????!!! "
Well...........not exactly. I like to go out hiking, go mountain biking, fish remote ponds, lakes, streams, and creeks, take photos in scenic locales - which are located throughout the website, fishing (North American Fishing Club Life Member), and bowhunt (North American Hunting Club Life Member), go 4-wheeling, auto work - suspensions are my specialty, paintball wargaming with friends, and running this website. I'm hoping you'll come back for more updates on what's going on around the local area. I will try to provide you with the best info out there. If you don't see what you're looking for, email me at: Sidewinder1167@aol.com, and I will do my best to try and bring the news to the site. Whether you're a sportsman, an outdoorsman, or a recreationalist, there will be something for everyone. For more about me & my Jeep: http://www.myjeepspace.com/sidewinder1167 A little background about myself: When I was around 8 years old, my dad used an old canvas military tarp straddling the clothesline in our backyard to make a tent. During the summer months, I would sleep outside under the makeshift tent on a folding cot almost every weekend. When I reached 10 years old, my mom & dad bought me my first 2 person tent (a Coleman, I believe). Whenever we went camping, I brought that tent with me, and slept in it - even in the rain! Whenever the forecast allowed, I always went fishing with my dad, providing I got up when he got up. We would fish streams, rivers, creeks, the Race by Long Island Sound (ocean), and even surf fishing. As long as it included the outdoors, that was where I was most happy. Currently, I reside in Hampton, CT with my wife. We like to travel to exotic places (Mexico, Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Chichamanga, and Tulum) and enjoy meeting new people everywhere we go. We also attend Jeep Trail Runs and 4x4 group gatherings. I still like to fish, most of the time, with my wife. We are truly fortunate that where we live it's mostly remote undeveloped farms & forests that have a ton of hidden little gems for ponds and lakes that are stocked well with trout and smallmouth bass. And, if the fishing's not so good, you can always enjoy the wilderness scenery that abounds! So you see, I'm just like you, I love to be outside - usually fishing, camping, paintballing, hiking, rail trail biking, 4 wheeling in my Jeep Cherokees, either with my wife, or my friends. I also enjoy running this website, and the CafePress.com/core860_store (webstore - I'm also the webmaster, too) ! As for the above statement, it's not a cave, ............it's a Wolf Den! The photo on this page, Putnam Wolf Den, was taken at the Mashamoquet State Park in Putnam, CT.
